Spring Term Timetables!
Please find our new class timetables for the Spring Term below. We are very excited about our new topic this term where we will be studying ’19th Century Britain.’
Anti-bullying
During Anti-bullying week, the pupils learnt about the difference between bullying and conflict. The pupils discussed ways they can support someone who they think is being bullied as well as ways to stop it. They then designed posters to support their ideas and to help remind everybody help is always available.

Spelling
Hi all
Below is the spelling rules and some example words for the Year 3 and 4 recap that we will be completing this half term. After half term, we will move onto Year 5 and 6 rules where we will cover a different rule each week. Please remember that we will not necessarily test on any of the words in this list (and we may not test on all the rules if we are seeing success in writing) but words that fit the rule. As always if you have any questions children (or parents) please speak to the class teacher or follow the communications policy and email the office.
Many thanks

Reading and completing book quizzes
Hi all
Within Year 6 and the whole school, reading should be an important part of every day both at school and at home. To begin the year, homework will revolve around reading and ttrockstars to ensure pupils are completing the required reading. Homework will then be on top of this reading and maths expectations. We expect the pupils to be reading at least 5 times a week at home for at least 20 minutes and this should be a priority. Within school we encourage pupils to read a book within their reading ZPD (zone of proximal development) and complete the quizzes when finished. Pupils can complete book quizzes at home through this link https://ukhosted31.renlearn.co.uk/2238970/ (please note you cannot google this as it is unique to us) however they can also complete them during school hours. If you wish to find out a book level it can be found through this website https://www.arbookfind.co.uk/default.aspx and you can add parameter to your search. As always if you have any questions please ask.
Thanks Team 6
